Temple Beth Shalom Parking Lot (in spaces marked “curbside pickup”)

JCC Parking Lot facing Temple Beth Shalom building
Members of the Temple Beth Shalom Shofar Corps will perform a live shofar blowing each Sunday during the month of Elul. Watch (or more appropriately…listen) from the safety and comfort of your cars in the JCC parking lot facing the Temple Beth Shalom building or a very-physically-distanced spot on the sidewalk. The Shofar blower will be on risers in the dropoff circle at the far end of the sidewalk leading to the main temple doors.
Curbside prayer book distribution will be going on at the same time for temple members who have registered to borrow books. Wear your masks, please. T’kiyah!

A look at the essential core texts that make up the Jewish Bookshelf beginning with the Torah. In the course of our study, we will learn not only what these texts are and how they work but we'll use them as an entryway into conversations about creation in the Torah, self-defense in rabbinic texts, and revelation through the eyes of modern thinkers.
