Welcome to Temple Beth Shalom—Where Your Jewish Journey Thrives
Your Jewish journey is personal. Whether you’re reconnecting with Jewish life, exploring it for the first time, raising a Jewish family, or deepening a lifelong relationship with Judaism, you are welcome here.
At Temple Beth Shalom, we believe that there is no single way to “do Jewish.” That’s why we are committed to building an inclusive, vibrant, and caring Reform Jewish community where each person’s story is honored, and everyone feels at home. We are proud to be the congregational home for more than 600 households and over 1,500 individuals—singles, couples, families with children, interfaith families, LGBTQ+ members, spiritual seekers, longtime Austinites, and recent transplants alike. Whoever you are, and wherever you're from, we are excited to meet you.
Temple Beth Shalom is located on the Dell Jewish Community Campus in the heart of Austin. Here, we offer engaging worship services, meaningful learning opportunities for all ages, social and cultural programs, and many ways to connect with others.
We invite you to:
- Join us for a Shabbat service (in person or online)
- Attend a community event or learning opportunity
- Schedule a tour of our beautiful sanctuary and campus
- Reach out for a personal conversation about how we can support your Jewish life
Membership is how we sustain our sacred community and how we show up for one another.
Our new tiered membership structure is designed with flexibility and inclusivity in mind. While a typical household contribution is approximately $3,700 per year, we offer a range of membership levels to ensure that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, can belong.
Rooted in the Jewish values of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tzedakah (justice and giving), we believe that no one should ever be turned away for lack of resources. If you’re seeking community, there will always be a place for you here.
To learn more, please complete the interest form below, and a member of our team will reach out to you personally. We’re excited to walk beside you on your Jewish journey.
