Sisterhood at the Austin Jewish Film Festival

Thursday, Nov. 7

6:00 p.m. dinner at Manuel’s (Great Hills)

7:30 p.m. movie at Regal Arbor 8 at Great Hills

Join Sisterhood for dinner then walk next door with us to view the film our group is sponsoring at this year’s Austin Jewish Film Festival! Tel Aviv on Fire tells the story of Salam, an inexperienced young Palestinian man, who becomes a writer on a popular soap opera after a chance meeting with an Israeli soldier. His creative career is on the rise—until the soldier and the show’s financial backers disagree about how the show should end, and Salam is caught in the middle. There will be a program following the film with co-screenwriter Dan Kleinman. Learn more and buy tickets at austinjff.org/video/tel-aviv-on-fire/. Use discount code TBSSIS19 to receive a 10% discount off any individual tickets purchased during the festival!
