At this time, when reproductive justice is at the forefront of political life, this two-part class will explore Jewish text and commentary related to the issue of abortion. This class will explore reproductive justice in Jewish tradition from multiple viewpoints while also touching issues of religious freedom and the role of the state in such decisions.
