Cook and learn along with Rahel Musleah in a delightful program about her Baghdadi-Indian-Jewish culinary heritage, a delicious hybrid of Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. She will show you how to make cheese samboosaks, a classic comfort snack of golden pastries with a melt-in-your mouth cheese filling. She will also share food-based memories that recreate a rich Indian Jewish cultural world.

Join Clara Altfeld (Youth Engagement Coordinator) and Jordan Magidson (Director of Youth Education & Programming) for Shabbat Dinner on the Road. This is a great chance to meet families in your South Austin neighborhood and celebrate Shabbat! We will say the Shabbat Blessings and then enjoy a delicious dinner at Mandola's Italian Kitchen at Arbor Trails. Temple Beth Shalom will provide appetizers, but please bring money for your families' own dinner/drinks.
