Camp Scholarship

Temple Beth Shalom believes strongly in the importance of Jewish camps. The bonding experience of camp not only builds a long-lasting taste and yearning for community, it also creates habits of Jewish practice. In fact, research shows that adults who were campers tend to stay more involved than non-campers in Jewish communities and are more likely to find comfort and to take part in Jewish rituals as they age.

No student should be denied the opportunity to experience a Jewish summer camp due to financial limitations. To help make Jewish summer experiences possible for all students, Temple Beth Shalom offers partial scholarships based on financial need.

The Maxine Goldman Memorial Fund, sponsored by Temple Beth Shalom's Act 2 group, funds youth scholarships. Any donation amount is appreciated, and may be tax deductible.

Please select the Maxine Goldman Memorial Fund in the donation dropdown menu.
