Rabbi Will Hall Celebratory Shabbat and Installation

 

We invite you to our celebratory Shabbat service honoring new Assistant Rabbi Will Hall on the occasion of his installation. We are honored to welcome our guest, Rabbi Kenneth A. Kanter, rabbinic director of Roots of Reform Judaism, to join our clergy for this special service to install Rabbi Hall. A special oneg will follow services to celebrate this momentous occasion. 

Join us in person or online. Temple Beth Shalom members, no need to RSVP. We welcome guests; RSVP by calling the temple office at 512-735-8900 by Thursday, April 18, at 3:00 p.m.

We invite you to make our celebratory oneg after services special with your presence and your contributions of homemade or store-bought treats, monetary gifts to purchase food, or your assistance with cleanup. Your presence at this meaningful event builds relationships and helps make our temple the warm congregation we all enjoy.  Please fill out our form to contribute.

If you are donating food, please deliver items to the Temple Beth Shalom kitchen on Thursday, April 18, or the morning of Friday, April 19. Thank you!

Donations in Honor of Rabbi Hall

In honor of Rabbi Hall's installation, we are collecting donations for Mobile Loaves & Fishes. Please bring the following items to place in the marked box in our temple lobby through Friday, April 19:

  • Clorox wipes or all-purpose cleaners
  • Sponges
  • Dish Soap
  • Microwaveable containers
  • Non-perishable food items:
    • canned soup
    • canned tuna
    • boxes of macaroni and cheese
    • tomato sauce
    • pasta
    • microwaveable rice
    • beans
    • peanut butter
    • coffee
    • bottled water
