TABSY Jr (6th & 7th Grade)

TABSY Jr., the junior version of TABSY, is exclusively for our 6th and 7th graders. TABSY Jr. is primarily for social experiences that expand Jewish connections and community outside of Religious School and B'nai Mitzvah experiences. Jewish Trivia Night

Wednesday, June 17, 6:45-7:45 p.m.

Religious School Families…Please join us for “Jewish Trivia” night! Trivia will be hosted by our very own quizmaster, Sam Rosenstein. Families are encouraged to compete together as one team. Everyone who registers will be together via Zoom. Your team will compete against others by answering the questions on your phone via Kahoot. Questions will challenge and engage the whole family! Winner gets a special shout out on the Religious School Facebook page, as well as bragging rights! We can’t wait to see you there. Sign up here.


Zoom Paint Night

Wednesday, July 15, 6:45-7:45 p.m.

Incoming 2nd -7th graders, you are invited to our first virtual summer event: Zoom Paint Night! . Morah Susan, TBS art teacher extraordinaire, will be hosting a “Paint Night.” Once participants register, they will be provided all the supplies needed to complete the project. At 6:45pm, you kids will logon to the Zoom and Morah Susan will guide them through their painting to create their own masterpiece. Not only will the kids have time to socialize, and learn a new skill, they will come away with their own creation! Registration info to come.


Zoom Movie Party

Wednesday, August 5, 6:45 p.m.

Club 45 and Tabsy Jr., join with your Temple Beth Shalom friends for a movie night extravaganza! 4th and 5th graders will join via Zoom for a movie watch party, and 6th and 7th graders will join in their own Zoom movie party. After registering for the event, we will be sending out recipes for a special “popcorn and float” dessert that your kids can make and bring to the movie. About halfway through each movie, we will have an intermission, where the kids can have a chance to talk to one another and play some movie trivia. Registration info to come.
