T'filah (Prayer) Opportunities for Grades K-5

Sunday Morning Family T'filah

?All Beit Noar families are encouraged to join us in our weekly Family T'fillah service on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. Filled with ruach (spirit), it is a time when families can sit together, sing together, and pray together. It is an opportunity for adults to model for students what services mean to us and where our kids can showcase their familiarity with the prayers and melodies that they learn throughout the year.

First Friday T'filah

?Feel right at home at Temple Beth Shalom on First Fridays! Come participate in a comfortable, casual, and community-connecting evening on the first Friday of each month. This Shabbat celebration is for everyone! Dinner is very casual, served buffet style, and we welcome even the youngest kids who are always on the move.

?A musical, meaningful and movement-filled young family celebration. Come as you are to pray, play, connect and create! Shabbatfulness is geared towards religious school families. We have created an interactive and engaging morning to play with what inspires and uplifts us. Together with our families, we will sing, move, breathe, imagine and create as we experience ruach from the inside out. Shabbatfulness gatherings are led by Heather Feinberg. Heather is a counselor and Jewish educator whose passion is teaching mindfulness and meditation to children and teens. Be on the lookout for upcoming Shabbatfulness dates.

Pop-Up Havdalah

The traditional Havdalah ceremony marks the end of Shabbat and helps us prepare for the week to come. Join us at different pop-up sites around Austin to sing, pray and welcome the week to come! Future sites to include the Planetarium at the Texas Museum of Science and Technology and the Thinkery in the Mueller District.
