Financial Peace University

New Course Starting in Fall 2019! Reserve your place!

Did you know that Judaism has a tremendous amount to teach us about financial management? This course, led by Temple Beth Shalom congregant Anne Corn, is designed for couples and individuals interested in learning the basics of money management: savings, budgeting, getting out of debt, buying insurance, building wealth and whole host of other money topics.

In addition to videos and materials prepared by Ramsey Solutions and small-group discussions, Rabbi Alan Freedman and Rabbi Amy Cohen will present Jewish perspectives on earning and using money. Between classes, participants are given "homework" to put figures to paper and to apply the information for their families or for themselves.

Couples are encouraged to take the Financial Peace University course together and individuals are encouraged to select a financial accountability partner.

The previous nine-session course cost $119 (for Ramsey Solutions Materials) and took place on Sundays at Temple Beth Shalom starting in September 2018.

Are you interested in taking this course? Please contact Anne Corn at or 512-371-9945 by October 15, 2019, to express interest or get more information.
