TBS BOARD ENCOURAGES CONGREGANTS TO ATTEND CONVENTION IN
SAN ANTONIO
NOVEMBER 5 - 7, 2004
The URJ Southwest Council Regional Biennial Convention is fast
approaching. We want Temple Beth Shalom to have a strong presence
with the convention being "right in our backyard" a short drive down
I-35 in San Antonio. It will be an amazing learning experience with
opportunities to attend seminars on a wide range of topics and to
listen to national figures from the Reform movement. You'll
also celebrate Shabbat with hundreds of other Jews from around our
region. For more information please call
Lynne or Steve Gellman at 345-1566, or call the URJ toll-free at
(888) 234-8242. The cost of registration and meals is
$275, and the hotel is $99/night. There are options of
attending single days and not the entire weekend at a reduced
amount. TBS has funds available to help defray the cost of
attending. The amount available will depend on the number we
have attending. For information on funding, please call Lynne
or Steve.
