Temple Beth Shalom offers educational programs for learners of all ages.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality educational opportunities. Programs include:

Torah Tots, for children who aren't old enough for Religious School

Religious School and Hebrew school for school-aged children

Adult education comes in a variety of packages including seminars, classes and brown bag lunch sessions.

1) What educational programs are there for the children of TBS members?

* Torah Tots (pre-K to 5; ages 2 to 5)

* Religious School (K through Confirmation)

* Hebrew School (begins in 3rd grade)

2) What are the goals of these programs?

* Foster reverence for God; love of Jewish learning.

* Give a positive view of the richness of Jewish life.

* Teach Jewish culture, history, values, & traditions.

* Encourage family participation in classrooms, at social functions, and in educational programs.

* Vary educational methods to reach all students

3) What about the staff and curriculum?

* The religious school includes a director and teachers from broad Judaic backgrounds.

* The curriculum includes (CHAI) a focus on ethical values education.

4) What does it cost?

* TBS offers educational programming to all members without the burden of additional fees.

5) What are the hours?

* Torah Tots: 10:15-ll:30, 3rd Sunday each month.

* Religious School: 9:30-12:00, Every Sunday.

* Hebrew School: 4:30-6:00, Every Wednesday.
