BREAK-THE-FAST :

As is our custom, Temple Beth Shalom will once again host the wonderful Break-the-Fast at the conclusion of Yom Kippur services around 6:30pm, Thursday, October 9th, 2008 in the JCAA gym.  Please consider joining this annual family-friendly event organized by Sisterhood.  Together we will break this day long fast with food and beverage items generously donated by our members.

Don’t miss this wonderful and delicious event.  Be a part of the tradition.  Bring a food dish and break the fast!  Our dairy-based menu will include kugels, a variety of salads including egg/tuna/pasta, vegetable and fruit trays, finger sandwiches, devil-eggs, lox, desserts, kid-friendly foods, juices, tea/coffee and sodas.

Please let Shannon Sherwood know of your food/beverage contribution before Thursday, October 2nd so our Sisterhood may plan accordingly.   For more information and to pledge your contribution, contact Shannon Sherwood at 238-6324 or by email at ssherwood@austin.rr.com

(Note: Due to members who have severe food allergies, we are a congregation that does not serve food items containing nuts or peanuts.)
