At Temple Beth Shalom, we strive to create an atmosphere where ALL of our members can experience Shabbat. Beginning Friday evening, Nov. 3rd, free babysitting during Shabbat services returns, now with special Shabbat programming for young children!

This service will be provided for those children who are walking up to age 7. Babysitters will be available from 7:30 - 9:30 in room 135 for those choosing that option. Children who are of Religious School age are asked to join the congregation for the opening prayers. At that time they will be taken to the Whale room for an age appropriate service as well as a story / activity time. They will be returned to the main service just prior to its conclusion.

While babysitting will be available each week, children's programming will not occur on the third Friday of each month in order to allow these children to participate in the Family Learner's Service.

There is typically no scheduled babysitting provided for B'nai Mitzvah services - though they can be scheduled by contacting the Temple Beth Shalom office.

Small Change Can Make a Big Difference!

Tzedakah cans are here! Pick yours up after services or at the Temple Beth Shalom office  Once your box is filled with coins, return to the Temple Beth Shalom office and pick up another. Have your kids drop in a coin on Sabbath for people less fortunate. No need to haul around loose change. Put it in the Tzedakah Box where it will be used for charitable purposes.
